Can't enroll any devices anymore

Dear all,

my CodeSigning certificate ran out and somehow I missed the chance to renew. Since then I cannot enroll any devices anymore. Whenever I want to register the device to MDM, it says "profile can't be installed". No profile - no remote management of the device.

After having gone through lengthy discussions with Apple technicians I came to my wit's end. I am stuck with a simple basic self-signed certificate and that's it. When I take an iPhone and login to my FQDN/mydevices I get a 500 internal server error. I am stuck here. What more can I do? What am I missing?

Mac Mini Server (Late 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Hello IT_3264, I'm getting the same internal error 500, even though my certificates are good. I notices it started happening when I enabled "Sign configuration profiles" under the profile manager section in the server app, and the error does not go away even if I uncheck the box.

Maybe its a stupid answer but, have you tried going into the certificates section in the server app double clicking on the expired certificate and clicking the renew button on the lower left?

Also, I think you can manage the certs on https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/

Hope this is of any help to you, I understand the frustration of not getting an answer on a community forum.

Best regards!

Jaime.
